Where to Celebrate Oktoberfest in Bonita Springs

Move over pumpkin spiced everything. Oktoberfest will soon be here and we must focus on the beer and schnitzel. And you don’t have to fly to Munich to break out your lederhosen, we have our own celebrations right here in Bonita Springs. 

5th Annual Oktoberfest Party at Hopsized Brewing Company 

Raise a stein with Hopsized as they celebrate their “5th Annual Oktoberfest Party.” Expect two days of Oktoberfest-inspired activities, including:

  • Oktoberfest jams from DJ Andy MUC

  • A stein-holding competition, known as Maßkrugstemmen (a real Bavarian sport that involves lifting a stein of beer)

  • Oktoberfest Trivia (self-explanatory) and audience participation activities (some explanation needed)

  • Food trucks (I hope there’s sausage, or we’ve missed a real opportunity here)

  • Special edition brews from Hopsized

And if you haven’t been to Hopsized yet? Well, this seems like the perfekt opportunity. Their taproom serves a rotating selection of lagers, Kölsch-style beers, NEIPAs, pale ales, stouts and fruited sours.

When: Saturday, Sept. 19, noon–10 p.m.; Sunday, Sept. 20, noon–6 p.m.

Oktoberfest 2026: Prost with a Purpose at Riptide Brewing Company

To celebrate Oktoberfest AND donate to a good cause, head over to Riptide Brewing Company for the 2nd annual “Oktoberfest 2026: Prost with a Purpose,” hosted by the Rotary Club of Bonita/Naples. Every dollar raised during the event will support charitable organizations serving the Bonita Springs and Naples area. And I certainly say prost to that!

Here’s what you can expect from this family-friendly Oktoberfest:

  • Live entertainment from a 20-piece Hafenkapelle German band (polka, anyone?)

  • Dancing (find out exactly how to dance to polka music)

  • Craft beer (to give you the confidence of a master polka dancer)

  • Traditional German food (for refueling after dancing to polka music)

(I may have exaggerated the amount of polka happening. The band plays other music, too.)

So, bring your friends, bring your kids, heck — bring everyone to party like a Bavarian for a good cause. And everyone (except for perhaps the children and those who prefer to refrain) should check out Riptide’s rotating selection of craft beers, lagers, IPAs and fruit-forward sours. 

When: Saturday, Oct. 10, from 3–7 p.m.

Cost: $35 for adults; $15 for children ages 3–12; children under 3 are free. Admission includes one beverage and a brat platter. 

Fancy a field trip outside of Bonita?

Oktoberfest hosted by German-American Social Club of Cape Coral

Okay, okay … I know this is a trek from Bonita. And it’s not at a brewery. But this is a big one (40th annual to be exact) and I would feel terrible if you wanted to go and missed it because I didn’t include it here. 

They have a lot going on over two weekends and more than I’m going to include here. Expect a huge Oktoberfest celebration, including:

  • Festival tents and a biergarten with three stages, two dance floors, non-stop live bands and traditional German music

  • Speciality food like schnitzel & sauerbraten, bratwurst, potato pancakes and more

  • Imported German beer

  • A carnival for the kids with rides and games

  • Handmade crafts (souvenirs, beer steins, t-shirts, hats, etc.)

When: Oct. 16–18 and Oct. 23–25

Where: German-American Social Club, 2101 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral

Cost: VIP passes start at $125 and include access to the VIP-only area, private bar and restrooms, dinner in the Von Steuben Hall, a beer stein with five refills, one specialty cocktail, an Oktoberfest t-shirt and one swag bag. Bonita Foodie is working to confirm general admission prices.
